By J. Bradley Keck 1991 Scholastic Football Review Notre Dame has never lost at home when leading 21-0 after the first quarter. Never, that was, until the Volunteers from Tennessee pulled off one of the greatest comebacks by an opposing team in the history of Notre Dame football. By way of a blocked field goal; a key injury, and an Irish panic, the Volunteers were able to squeak out a 35-34 victory and give college football fans one of the most exciting games of the season.

Kirschner: Implications For Syndicated Term Loans
Last Thursday morning, August 24, the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit issued a decision in the closely watched Kirschner v. JPMorgan case, rejecting the plaintiff's argument that the subject syndicated term loans should be treated as securities.1 The Second Circuit issued its decision just a few weeks after the US Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") declined to weigh in on the case despite having requested three extensions for the filing of a submission.
The Private Fund Adviser Rule And The Kirschner Decision: An August Doubleheader
