What was your first job as a journalist?
Interviewing an artist who was so drunk they couldn't speak, see or hear my questions.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
I wrote my first history dissertation on a typewriter for the extra 'cool' factor. I learnt my lesson second time around.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
The freedom to explore, to investigate, to discover, to learn. Very few careers offer those kinds of opportunities.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
The documentary 'Brazil's Cultural Identity' It made me realise the importance art has on a countries history and modern sense of self.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Any time... a great story will grab the attention whether its first thing in the morning or late in the evening. It's why I love writing
