What was your first job as a journalist?
I worked for my high school newspaper and my university's TV and radio stations. First paying gig was in radio just south of Atlanta.
What's your favorite social network?
It's currently in a state of flux with an uncertain future, but Twitter has traditionally been a great place to aggregate official info.
Why did you become a journalist?
I was always interested in news, even as a child.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Facts first, above all, even when they're boring or unpopular. If you can't be trusted, you're sunk.
