Jack Shi’s Biography

Jack Shi is an independent developer and founder who runs two companies — CLOOMS (consumer AI tools & web utilities; clooms.com) and NexaPioneer (AI-first B2B; nexapioneer.com). Contact: jackshi@clooms.com

He began his career at Alibaba in 2008, serving many B2B companies in international trade. There he noticed a persistent problem: most businesses had access to data and tools, but very few knew how to use them effectively. So he started building his own — and independently built and integrated a database of over 70 million B2B records. That work became NexaPioneer.

He carries the same philosophy — solve one real, specific need, simply — into consumer software. Under CLOOMS he builds and runs a portfolio of AI web tools and calculators spanning image and appearance, generative media, productivity, and everyday utilities.
