Abstract Invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC) is characterized by E-cadherin loss resulting from CDH1 inactivation, but discordance among morphology, immunohistochemistry (IHC), and molecular findings can complicate diagnosis. We integrated histology, IHC, DNA sequencing, and whole-transcriptome sequencing (WTS) to clarify such discrepancies. Among 126 clinically sequenced breast cancers, 15 were selected based on ILC diagnosis or the presence of CDH1 mutation.
1. Introduction Global warming attributed to the greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide and methane, is the biggest hurdle for every living entity around the world, as well as just human beings. To replace carbon-based energy resources, i.e., petroleum and coal which emit greenhouse gases, a variety of alternative energy resources have been developed. However, it is required for them to be eco-friendly, renewable, and sustainable.

Specially designed two-dimensional (2D) arrays of nanometer-scale metallic antennas, or metasurfaces, may allow bulky optical components to be shrunk down to a planar device structure. Khorasaninejad et al. show that arrays of nanoscale fins of TiO can function as high-end optical lenses. At just a fraction of the size of optical objectives, such planar devices could turn your phone camera or your contact lens into a compound microscope. Maguid et al.
