There is a constant 24 hour news cycle. The demand for more outrageous, click-baity, and sensationalistic news is ever-increasing.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

No, I didn't. Though I had a passion for writing at a young age, I didn't think I was going to become a writer in high school.
