Jalal Abdallah’s Biography
Jalal Abdallah is the founder of a Dearborn, Michigan law practice devoted exclusively to personal injury law.
He established the firm in 2021, after passing the Michigan bar exam in 2020 and earning his law degree from Cooley Law School in 2018. Before law school, he completed his undergraduate degree in history at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. He is a graduate of Fordson High School and has lived in Dearborn his entire life.
The decision to build a solo practice rather than join an existing firm was intentional, as was the decision to concentrate on a single area of law. Personal injury matters reach people at genuinely difficult points in their lives, often after an injury they did nothing to cause. Jalal's position is that those clients need a lawyer who is accessible, prepared, and personally invested in the outcome rather than one managing them as a file among many. Independence gives him the ability to work that way.
His professional experience extends beyond the practice of law. Jalal previously opened, owned, and operated both an insurance agency and a title insurance agency focused on real estate closings, running them alongside his legal work. He closed both businesses in order to devote his full attention to his law firm and to public service, but the experience shaped how he approaches the operational side of running a practice. He is currently pursuing an MBA.
Jalal also won the Democratic primary for Michigan House, District 15. He identifies that result, along with passing the bar exam and launching his own firm, as the accomplishments he is most proud of in his career to date.
He has been married to his wife, Leila, for nearly five years. Outside the office, his time belongs to family. His outside interests include history, sports and sports history, film, and live music, from concerts to festivals.
