To tell the true stories of the poor and misrepresented.

I did not do work for my highschool newspaper... at the time, I thought I was "too cool" for it

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

I am most proud of covering the true stories of refugees seeking resettlement into America.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Stay persistent and keep writing.
