James Boyle’s Biography

I have been in the media business for more than 20 years, starting as an intern for the Sports department at the Intelligencer/Bucks County Courier Times.

My most significant experience occurred between 2010 and 2018, first as an editor for Patch.com, a hyperlocal news initiative, then my return to the Intelligencer/Bucks County Courier Times as a staff reporter.

I have covered everything from township supervisor meetings, breaking police news, court cases, sporting events and human interest stories.

The uncertainty of local journalism forced me to move on to financial reporting for a commercial real estate website. I continue to occasionally freelance for the Courier Times, and I also manage a social media-based news page, Warminster Live.

I started the Facebook page in 2014 and provide, in my spare time, original reporting on news and events happening in my hometown of Warminster and its surrounding communities, including Warrington, Warwick, Upper Southampton and Hatboro.
