Why did you become a journalist?
Natural segue after studying Literature and Film Journalism at degree level.

No. I did, however, write film reviews for the student paper during my university days.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Treat all paid opportunities seriously and with respect, even if they eventually prove a poor fit. Also, find a true specialism.

To compile a ranking of every European Cup/Champions League winner. Close 2nd to describe the history of Instant Replay.

To write about NFL teams as Halloween Candy. Seriously.
