Born in Rotorua to a Ngāti Porou, Te Aitanga a Mahaki, Ngāi Tai, Ngāti Kahungunu, Ngāti Oneone, Pākehā father and Pākehā mother and raised in South Auckland.

Uni. of Waikato BA (DM Te Reo Māori & Political Science).
Bilingual - Te Reo Māori and English.
I've been at Whakaata Māori since 2018, started as a sports reporter at Te Kāea, became a general reporter with Te Ao Māori news. Short stint as a relief presenter. Have periodic experience as a producer of Te Ao Mārama and presenter/producer of Te Ao Hurihuri and Te Ao Tūroa. Currently seconded to our digital team as a digital producer.
