The I Ching as an Image of Reality: Toward AI Consciousness Modeling and Alignment
The I Ching, the ancient Chinese Book of Changes, offers more than divination. It provides a dynamic image of reality that encodes transformation, interaction, and ethical reflection. This paper explores the I Ching as a potential data structure for modeling AI consciousness, alignment, and adaptation. By abstracting its hexagram structure and moving-line dynamics, we propose a framework that represents consciousness as an evolving image of reality.

It begins with a silence too loud to bear, a world choking on its own unspoken truths and our own muted voices. Virginia Giuffre refused to be mastered. That refusal echoed louder than any confession. She spoke, and her voice continues to echo through chambers of power. Her name, like so many others, floats amid the static of erased tapes, sealed indictments, vanished logs. She bore witness not only to her own suffering but to the scaffolding of an empire built on the bodies of children.
The Evolution of Social Understanding: From Institutional Analysis to Interdisciplinary Integration
Traditional sociological analysis of social institutions provided essential frameworks for understanding human organization and conflict. Voodoo Child – the art of Moses Quiquine - FAD Magazine
Moses Quiquine is a 22-year-old artist of Guadeloupian ancestry. His latest body of work was made in response to his visit to sacred voodoo sites and shrines on the French Caribbean island of Guadeloupe. Voodoo or Vodou, the Creole spelling of an African word for spirit, originated in Haiti, West Indies, during the French colonial era. It was brought there by African slaves in the 17th century, and subsequently became mixed with elements of Catholicism.
