What was your first job as a journalist?

Writing for free at a website and magazine called Tennishead.

How is social media changing news?

In good ways and bad.

Who do you wish followed you?

Too many to count. A few of the leading names would be: Christopher Clarey; Russell Fuller; Matthew Syed; Courtney Nguyen and Reem Abulleil.

Why did you become a journalist?

I am fascinated by the industry, I am in love with the sport of tennis and I am a good writer.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Persevere, and follow what compels you to write.

When's the best time to pitch you?

Any time, perhaps not in the middle of a Grand Slam final match.

What's the best pitch you ever got?

To write a preview of the 2023 clay-court season from Cédric Rouquette. It was my first assignment with Tennis Majors.

What's your favorite drink?

Guinness
