The dual IGF-1R/IR blocker, Linsitinib, modulates human orbital fibroblast activity and proliferation
Abstract Aim: The insulin-like growth factor-1 receptor (IGF-1R) and its downstream signaling pathways drive proliferation, survival, and extracellular matrix production, representing key therapeutic targets in thyroid eye disease (TED). This novel in vitro study investigated the inhibitory effects of the dual IGF-1R/insulin receptor small-molecule inhibitor Linsitinib on orbital target cell activity, proliferation, and survival.

Investigation of porous carbon fibers based on porous polyacrylonitrile fibers using high-resolution methods across different scales
This work presents a new cross-scale approach to evaluating the carbon fiber structure. This is demonstrated along the manufacturing chain from porous polyacrylonitrile (PAN) precursor fibers to porous carbon fibers (CF), where the particular challenge lies both in maintaining the porous structure throughout all process steps of thermal conversion and in ensuring that the fiber is sufficiently strong for processing in the stabilization and carbonization steps.
The role of electron beam irradiation in tailoring porous carbon fibers for enhanced battery and energy storage applications
The transition to a sustainable future necessitates the development of advanced energy storage systems, including supercapacitors and batteries. Porous carbon fibers (pCFs) are of critical importance in these devices due to their high conductivity, extensive surface area, and robust structural stability. pCFs are used as cathodes in supercapacitors and as cathodes or gas distributors in hydrogen fuel cells, thereby enhancing efficiency and reducing costs.

Kulturtage 16.
Vom 31.
Sensitivity of Offline and Inline Indicators for Fiber Stretching in Continuous Polyacrylonitrile Stabilization
1. Introduction Carbon fiber’s excellent intrinsic properties, such as high strength, high modulus, thermal and electrical conductivity, excellent chemical resistivity, and low density, have expanded its appeal in a variety of fields, including lightweight engineering, turbine, energy storage battery, automotive, and health [1,2,3,4,5,6,7].
Evaluation of Nursery Traits in Japanese Plums on Five Different Rootstocks
Abstract : Climate change has a negative effect on the environment in which traditional fruit species are grown and, at the same time, offers the potential for cultivation of new species. Japanese plums derived from P. salicina Lindley are a fruit species that is slowly being introduced to the Czech Republic. Therefore, there are efforts to find ways to grow these varieties.
