What was your first job as a journalist?
I was a writing intern at The Tab back in 2016! Oh, how time has flown by.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
No, but I want one so bad! Vintage is the best.
How is social media changing news?
While many view social media as a toxic platform for news, it has its benefits, such as providing an almost instant glimpse of news.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
It means authenticity. Be honest in your work, in yourself, and in your job. Now more than ever, this is what we NEED in media.
What's your favorite social network?
TikTok for sure. It’s such a great way to unwind after a work day with funny videos!
Why did you become a journalist?
I became a journalist because I quickly realized from a very young age that I loved writing and storytelling.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I’m always extremely proud of writing/editing big “In Memoriam” pieces at the end of the year to remember and honor those who have passed.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Keep working. This industry is not easy to get into, but when you put in the hard work and effort, it absolutely pays off!

Literally anytime! I’m all over social media, so it’s easy to reach me whenever and I’ll get back to you ASAP.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
I’m typically always on the computer either listening to music, watching YouTube videos, or my new favorite Netflix binge.

I typically read Today.com’s work for their feel-good stories, viral stories, and latest news.
