What was your first job as a journalist?
My first job as a journalist was with Wisconsin Sports Heroics, whom I am still writing for.
How is social media changing news?
Social media has made it so news can now be spread, and unfortunately skewed, faster than ever.

What does it mean to be a journalist?
To me, being a journalist means you are responsible for telling the public what they need to hear.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
I prefer to be pitched on the phone because I feel it is the best way to properly understand what needs to be done.
What's your favorite social network?
Twitter, or X as it is now known, due to the speed of the news and interactions.
Why did you become a journalist?
I became a journalist because I wanted to share the sports stories that people do not get to hear.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I did, I started the first two years as a contributor before serving as an editor for the paper.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I am most proud of my one-on-one articles where I have had the chance to interview top high school recruits.
When's the best time to pitch you?
The morning
What's the best pitch you ever got?
I think the best pitch I have ever received involved writing about wrestling since it is my favorite sport.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
I was asked to write about a non-sports related topic I had never heard about nor did I know it existed.
What's your favorite drink?
Water.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
The Athletic is by far my favorite publication to read.
