Have you ever used a typewriter?
I have! I was rubbish at it, but I was just a kid; don't hold it against me.
What's your favorite social network?
My favorite? It used to be Twitter, until, you know, The Dark Times. I still love all the connections and friends I've made there.
Why did you become a journalist?
I've wanted to be a games journalist since I was a kid. Reading Nintendo Power was all it took. I got very lucky later in life.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Just about anytime. I start my day very early. I don't really check my mail as frequently once I start streaming in the evening, though.
What's your favorite drink?
An ice-cold Cherry Coke. Or a cool glass of water. If alcohol, Suntory.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Sleeping - I'm a bit of a workaholic. That, or heading home to visit my grandmother. Family is important.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
I've always been a pretty big fan of RPGSite, to be honest. It's my favorite genre, and they have quality writers.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That we are paid to review things positively. That's foolish. I'd be living a much more lavish lifestyle if I were bribed!
