Gears of War: E-Day Review: Cover Story
Table of Contents Toggle For a while now, I’ve been complaining about how Sony’s first-party sequels play it really safe, from God of War Ragnarök to Ghost of Yōtei. They take a formula they know works, tweak it ever so slightly to add a new wrinkle to the gameplay, and call it a day. Unfortunately, that seems to be the thing to do when it comes to AAA titles in a well-established franchise, because Gears of War: E-Day falls very much into that formula.
