English Augmented reality (AR) has gained increasing relevance in mathematics education due to its ability to integrate three-dimensional representations and visual interaction into geometry learning. The aim of this study was to analyze the scientific evidence on the contributions of augmented reality to geometric thinking and the processes associated with learning geometry in mathematics education. A narrative review was conducted using a structured search of publications from 2020 to 2025.
