What was your first job as a journalist?

On the youth beat, SpeakOut, at Warrington Guardian.

How is social media changing news?

It makes things very instantaneous. If you've not got a story up and covered quickly, it's almost not worth doing.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

Dropbox, Asana, Capsule CRM, Fireworks, Wordpress

Why did you become a journalist?

It's been my dream since a young age to be a sports journalist. I love sport and always wanted it to be a major part of my life.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

No, but I did at university. I was online editor.
