Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes, I actually first learned how to type on a typewriter, and my brother would get me to type all of his essays for schools on it.
How is social media changing news?
I can read up on a news item even before a full article has been written and get the gist of it in 140 characters or less.
Who do you wish followed you?
Ira Glass. I just love what he produces on This American Life.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
My interview with Takashi Murakami. I've been a huge fan of his work for years and it was great to spend a few days immersed in his world.
When's the best time to pitch you?
During the weekdays, especially from 6 am to 7 pm.
