Jeff leads BioCentury’s daily global intelligence, coordinating the coverage of financings, clinical trial data, new discoveries, regulation and policy from North America, Europe and China and other Asia Pacific countries. He is also the Executive Editor of The BioCentury Show, BioCentury’s twice monthly in-depth conversation with global leaders who are determining the future of medicine, and host of the BioCentury This Week podcast. He is a key contributor to coverage of financings, deals, policy and new companies in Asia, with a particular focus on China, as well as the director of BioCentury’s In Memoriam section. Jeff joined BioCentury as Editor of BioCentury’s erstwhile daily publication in 2005 and became Managing Editor of BioCentury in 2010. He became Executive Editor in 2017.
Prior to BioCentury, Jeff served on the editorial teams of MarketWatch, Institutional Investor and Asia Times. He is co-author of the first edition of the Rough Guide to Laos. Jeff has an A.B. from Princeton University in English and an M.A. from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
