Oklahoma State football stunned by Iowa State walk-off FG in field-storming loss
Oklahoma State 's comeback effort appeared nearly complete. But on a night the Cowboys' defense struggled mightily, it was that unit that did not get a final stop. Iowa State kicked a 34-yard field goal as time expired to stun the Cowboys 51-49 and likely derail any hope of making the Big 12 title game. The Cowboys (5-3, 3-2) have lost two of three games, both on the road. But this one felt way more in reach than Houston.
OU football overwhelmed in blowout loss to LaNorris Sellers, South Carolina
Night of terror. House of horrors. Fright Fest. Pick a Halloween phrase and it basically applies to OU's performance Saturday in a 42-25 loss to South Carolina on Saturday evening. The Sooners ' offense was a disaster, totaling just 359 yards — mostly in garbage time. It took until early in the fourth quarter to even score a touchdown. By then, South Carolina (5-3, 3-3 SEC) had led 35-10.

OU football outlasts Mississippi State as John Mateer plays best game of season
It was certainly not flashy. But for Oklahoma , that's probably for the best. The Sooners grinded out a 23-15 victory over Mississippi State and former OU offensive coordinator Jeff Lebby on Saturday afternoon at Davis Wade Stadium. And by grind, the Sooners turned heavily to the run game to open up big plays. They averaged 4.5 yards per carry with five different ball carriers. Tory Blaylock and Lloyd Avant each totaled 25 carries and combined for 126 yards.
Oklahoma State football rallies in second half to rout Deion Sanders, Colorado

Oklahoma State football gives scary thought for Big 12. Cowboys are learning how to win
STILLWATER — Eric Morris isn't looking for moral victories in his first season as Oklahoma State football coach. And good for him, he hasn't had to settle for any. His Cowboys are “growing and learning how to win in different ways.” The latest and fourth consecutive victory — 42-28 against UCF on Saturday at Boone Pickens Stadium — was an endurance test for the OSU defense. The Cowboys gave up 27 first downs, leading to a 10-minute difference in time of possession.

Eat a Fletcher's corny dog . Ride the ferris wheel. For OU football coach Brent Venables and his unranked Sooners, everything was sweet and savory after pulling of a shocking 27-24 win over the top-ranked Longhorns on Saturday afternoon at the Cotton Bowl.
