I cover national infrastructure and transportation issues for The Associated Press in Chicago and edit stories for the U.S. Desk with a particular focus on government and politics. Previously in my 26-year AP career I served as the correspondent in Lexington, Kentucky; a regional reporter in Washington, D.C.; a state government reporter in Tallahassee, Florida; and as a general assignment reporter in St. Louis and Louisville, Kentucky.
