What was your first job as a journalist?

I freelanced with a weekly newspaper during my senior year of high school, which ended up turning into a staff job when I graduated.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

Yes, way back in Kindergarten.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

iPhone, Tablet, Laptop, Notebook, Pen, Paper

What's your favorite social network?

Twitter. There's no better place to get instant news and information.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

For three years, I was the sports editor of the Steinbrenner High Oracle.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Don't be afraid to ask the hard questions and dig deep for stories ... just always be ethical while digging.
