Navigating Menopause with Evidence, Experience, and Heart
By Jennifer L. Little, MD, FACOGRegional Medical Director, One Health Women’s Services As an OB/GYN, I’ve spent my career helping women navigate every stage of health. When I began my residency in the early 2000s, the landmark Women’s Health Initiative (WHI) study had just been published. Almost overnight, the medical community’s approach to Menopause Hormone Therapy (MHT) changed.
De-junking our snack food habits
July 21 is National Junk Food Day, according to Holidayinsights.com. Most of us enjoy a good snack to calm the hunger cravings now and then between meals, but do we, as Americans, really need an excuse to eat more junk food?
Better sleep means better everything else
May is Better Sleep Month, an observance established by the Better Sleep Council, which is a consumer-information arm of the National Sleep Products Association. This association is a group which preceded the National Sleep Foundation in promoting healthy sleep. Jennifer Little, a defense attorney for Donald Trump, said her team would declare any indictments in Georgia against the former president "faulty indictments." Speaking to CBS correspondent Robert Costa, Little explained how Trump's team would defend the former president if any charges arise from a special grand jury's work in Georgia. Newfoundland & Labrador > Opinion STORY CONTINUES BELOW THESE SALTWIRE VIDEOS Cheers: To a life well lived. We were all rocked Sept. 8 with news of Queen Elizabeth’s death – for many of us, it was akin to hearing a distant relative that we knew only from stories and photos had died. Given her 70-year reign, the majority of people in Newfoundland have no memories of another monarch. And, certainly, there won’t be another in our lifetime who will serve as long as she did.

Newfoundland & Labrador > Opinion STORY CONTINUES BELOW THESE SALTWIRE VIDEOS Cheers: to all those who helped out during the flooding from Earl last week. VIDEO: Tired of baking bread yet? Try making homemade bagels with this recipe | SaltWire
Like everyone else, I’ve been baking bread while staying at home during isolation. While I bake – a lot – bread is not something I do regularly, so it was a fun experiment as I tried making different types of loaves and rolls. Bunny baking: Two easy cakes to brighten your Easter celebrations | SaltWire
Since I was a small child, my mom had always made a bunny cake for our family each Easter. It’s simple, but it was something we looked forward to each year. When my son was born, I continued the tradition, and added another type of bunny cake as well so I could change things up each year. Both are easy to decorate and can be done with a cake mix if you have one, or use this simple from scratch recipe that is my go-to vanilla cake, made with ingredients you likely already have in your pantry.

The Male Profession’s Female Relative
WAIT A SECOND. I clicked, totally at random, on the Storekeeper's Niece, and found this: "Mike Williams thinks the little redhead is too pretty to share Amos' nasty disposition, and once her sharp tongue crosses a line with him, he turns her over his knee for a good spanking. That's nothing, though, compared to his outrage when he learnes that Becca is determined to find her uncle's killer.
