Jennifer Nehrer’s Biography

I am an investigative journalist currently completing a summer internship at the National Press Club's Journalism Institute, where I am supporting the Institute with crucial initiatives and writing about the media industry.

I recently graduated from the University of Southern California with my Bachelor of Arts in journalism. While at USC, I worked for five semesters on my school paper, the Daily Trojan, serving in multiple editorial positions. I also worked in the USC Annenberg OSINT Lab as an investigative researcher and for USC Annenberg Media as an Investigative Reporter, helping both with multiple projects.

Outside of my studies, I have completed internships at NBC Los Angeles, NBC News, the Times Media Group, the News Media Alliance and more.

When it comes to writing, I am most drawn to long-form investigative or feature work concerning data, the news industry and citizens affected by political policy.
