The more things change, the more they stay the same. Utah Jazz guards Jordan Clarkson and Talen Horton-Tucker decided to stay in Salt Lake City, rather than test the free agency market. Also, Utah opted to pick up the $12.195 million on the last year of Kelly Olynyk's contract. What does it mean moving forward? The topic came up when Jeremiah Jensen of KSL Sports joined ESPN 700's The Bill Riley Show.

TOKYO — MyKayla Skinner thought her gymnastics career was over a week ago. Now, she’s a silver medalist. Until it wasn’t.
Simone Biles' Withdrawal From Team Final Sparks Conversation On Mental Health
TOKYO — There were some stunning moments in Tokyo Tuesday as Simone Biles withdrew from the gymnastics team competition for mental health reasons. Athlete mental health has been a big focus at these Olympic Games, and it’s important to realize just how much is at stake in a sport like gymnastics, when your mind isn’t where you want it to be. “I’m like, ‘Don’t bail, you’ll literally die, like you will break something,” Biles said laughing.

Utah Athletes Participate In Opening Ceremony Of Tokyo Games
TOKYO – We have got some great Olympic spirit in the state of Utah. There’s no question Tokyo’s Opening Ceremony was remarkably different than others. It was more solemn and subdued than what we are used to. Still, there were plenty of moments that stood out, and it was clear the athletes made the most of their experience, that for many, was once in a lifetime. In a stadium that can hold 68,000, there were only roughly 950 in attendance.

Several local players could get selected in what is a very deep and talented draft.
Jensen: Saying 'Black Lives Matter' Shouldn't Be Hard
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Juneteenth was Friday. The day we commemorate the emancipation of enslaved people in the United States in 1865. Thousands of Utahns recognized and celebrated Juneteenth, including Donovan Mitchell of the Utah Jazz. Daniel Markham Breaks Out of Alt-Country, Thanks to Dimebag Darrell
Daniel Markham put out a new single, and it’s like nothing he’s done before. “Don’t it Feel Good” debuted recently, heralding Markham’s return from the studio with a new album, Burnout. The track is a nod to 1990s grunge with a riff that chugs like Weezer and bites like Alice in Chains. It’s an edgy departure from Markham’s catalog of alt-country and indie-rock tunes. And it's all because of Dimebag Darrell.

Huntley belongs on that list and the numbers back up him up.

Aggies Should Take LSU Loss In Stride, Focus On MW Championship
LOGAN, Utah – The Utah State Aggies took a beating from LSU in Baton Rouge that reminded us of the dark days of the past. A past where getting crushed in money games by Power 5 opponents was common for the Aggies. It wasn’t pretty. The program had competed well against Power 5 competition on the road the past decade against Oklahoma, Auburn, Wisconsin, USC, Michigan State and earlier this season at Wake Forest. They had late leads in several of these big games only to fall short in the end.

In Defense of Post Malone: Rock ’n’ Roll’s Not Dead. It’s Just … Different.
It seems like an eternity ago that derpy, 19-year-old Grapevine native Austin Post threw open the SoundCloud floodgates with “White Iverson” and thrust us into our current pop zeitgeist. Since then, there’s seldom been a mainstream radio hour, party or Spotify playlist sans one of his songs. Now 24 and on his third full-length album, Post Malone appears to have hit that sweet spot in his career where he feels the freedom to take some artistic risks. And I think he’s bringing rock 'n' roll back.

Jensen: Playoff Failure Could Make Jazz Better In Future
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – I’m sorry, Jazz fans. I know it hurts. You dreamed of your favorite team proving doubters wrong again and pulling off a playoff upset. It drives you nuts watching James Harden get away with flopping and traveling. You can’t stand it when Chris Paul whines to the refs after every whistle. You wanted to see the Jazz beat them so bad, but it’s not going to happen.

What's A Dog Got To Do With It?
The solution to all of your problems: dogs. OK, maybe not, but multifamily margins are tightening and competition for residents is increasing, making the right amenity mix key. Experts say one of the hottest, most effective strategies is to focus on pet amenities because of the large number of pet owners and their willingness to go the extra mile for their fluffy friends.
