Outcome of the 2024 Independent Inquiry into The Star

The report of Adam Bell SC’s 2024 independent inquiry into The Star Pty Limited (The Star), operator of The Star Casino in Sydney, was published today, 30 August 2024 (Bell 2 Report). The Bell 2 Report found that The Star is not suitable to be concerned in or associated with the management and operation of The Star Casino. An initial report released in 2022 following a previous inquiry conducted by Adam Bell SC also found that The Star was unfit to hold a casino licence in New South Wales.
