Jessica Cluess was born in Santa Monica, CA, and attended Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. Jessica Cluess worked an assortment of odd jobs for years, especially as a barista and a troubleshooter for a radio news website, before she became a published author. Main publications under the name Jessica Cluess have been in YA fantasy, though she has a science fiction story forthcoming in an anthology this December. Jessica Cluess also ran kids' creative writing workshops for Writopia for a number of years.
