Today's THV as a web producer.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

Yes! At my dad's office when I was a kid. I kind of loved it.

How is social media changing news?

It's fast, uninterrupted news- something the world hadn't seen until the social media phenomenon.

Will McAvoy - HBO's Newsroom

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

In a group setting.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, MuckRack, Edius, Photoshop, ENPS, and Outlook.

What's your favorite social network?

It's a toss up between Facebook and Instagram.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Persevere.
