My high school newspaper!

Yep. Love 'em.
How is social media changing news?
Communities like Reddit and Twitter have changed how news is delivered and received drastically, from delivery to discussion to turnaround.

Murphy Brown
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
I prefer a dialogue beforehand, and information that fits my content. Do your homework and your pitch will make it in my publication.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Everything from creative (Adobe) to staples (MS Office) to social media (Twitter and FB primarily).

Stephen King, Richard Branson
Why did you become a journalist?
I love telling a great story, whether it's someone else's or one of my own.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Absolutely (and yearbook). Photographer, Academics editor, reporter.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I love all of my profiles. Tom Colicchio was a fave. Anthony Bourdain, of course.
