Abstract Metastasis remains a primary driver of poor outcomes in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC), yet the underlying molecular mechanisms are incompletely understood. Here, we identify the long non-coding RNA FOXD2-AS1 as a critical regulator of OSCC metastasis through comprehensive analysis of GEO and TCGA datasets, followed by validation in an independent cohort of 82 OSCC patients via chromogenic in situ hybridization.
Discussion In this study, we found that a higher plaque enhancement index and more severe degree of area stenosis may be independently associated with IPST in patients who underwent intracranial stenting. Our finding may be helpful in angioplasty risk assessment and preoperative preparation for intracranial stenting. Previous studies found that antiplatelet resistance, long stenotic lesions, and use of more than one stent were associated with IPST.
