Sonochemical boron incorporation enhances activity and durability of ruthenium oxide for acidic water oxidation
Abstract The inherent instability of ruthenium oxide in acidic environments, coupled with the persistent activity-stability trade-off, constitutes a fundamental barrier to advancement of proton exchange membrane water electrolyzers. Here we show a cavitation-mediated sonochemical strategy that enables homogeneous substitutional boron doping of ruthenium oxide within minutes under ambient conditions.
Dose–response relationship between physical activity and mental health outcomes in adolescents
Abstract Background: Physical activity is generally associated with improved adolescent mental health, yet its dose–response relationship remains unclear. This study examined how physical activity relates to stress perception, psychological resilience, and self-efficacy among adolescents. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted in September 2024 among 2,270 students aged 12–15 years from 4 middle schools in Shanghai, China.

Trends in prevalence and determinants of stunting in Tanzania: an analysis of Tanzania demographic health surveys (1991-2016)
Abstract Background Tanzania has made a significant improvement in wasting and underweight indicators. However, stunting has remained persistently higher and varying between regions. We analyzed Tanzania Demographic and Health Survey (TDHS) datasets to examine (i) the trend of stunting over the period of 25 years in Tanzania and (ii) the remaining challenges and factors associated with stunting in the country.
Sustained Visual Acuity Loss in the Comparison of Age-Related Macular Degeneration Treatments Trials
Importance Although anti–vascular endothelial growth factor treatment of neovascular age-related macular degeneration (AMD) results in improved vision overall, loss of substantial vision can occur. Understanding the processes that lead to loss of vision may lead to preventive strategies. Objective To determine the incidence, characteristics, causes, and baseline predictors of sustained visual acuity loss after 2 years of treatment with ranibizumab or bevacizumab for neovascular AMD.
