Jill Becker’s Biography

Jill Becker is a veteran journalist based in Atlanta. She had decade-long stints on the staff at Texas Monthly (a National Magazines Award-winning regional publication) and American Way (the inflight magazine of American Airlines), as well as a two-year stint as editor-in-chief of a travel trade publication called Group Travel Planet. A full-time freelancer since 2005, she has served as editor of several regional publications, including Coastal Lifestyle, Simply Buckhead, and NW Georgia Living. Her writing has appeared in dozens of print and online publications, from CNN.com and the Dallas Morning News to Women's Day and Good Housekeeping. She is also a proficient copy editor and proofreader of everything from coffee table books to corporate literature.
