Publication day - Jill Steeples
Thank you so much for inviting me on to your blog today to introduce my new book, Wedding Bells at The Dog and Duck. I absolutely loved writing this story as it was such a pleasure to return to the idyllic village of Little Leyton and to catch up with all the characters that frequent the village pub. This is the third book in the Dog and Duck series, but don’t worry if you haven’t read the previous books, this can be read as a standalone too.

Desperately Seeking Heaven reminded me massively of Cally Taylor's fabulous debut novel Heaven Can Wait, but they're not exactly carbon copies of each other, let me be clear. Ghostly Chick Lit doesn't come around very often, though the Queen of Chick Lit herself, Sophie Kinsella, has written a ghostly Chick Lit novel called Twenties Girl (amazing, seriously).

The story begins with Anna finding out about her fiancé Ed, who is cheating on her before their wedding with her best friend Sophie. Anna can't believe the news she has got, though if she hadn't read her best friend's diary then she may have never found out about the affair. Anna doesn't know which way to go, she is confused, hurt, sad and angry.
