My earliest stories were exhibition reviews for a small photography magazine.

Of course, but I really didn't start writing until after the dawn of the computer age

Why did you become a journalist?
Because I was critical of errors that other writers made in articles written about my own photography projects.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I don't think we had a newspaper, but I did write some profiles of fellow students for the high school yearbook.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
It's hard to select a single story, but I'm partial to a series of articles I've written about women working in photography and media.
