faster, more / less reliable, accessible and much funnier - did you see how the Irish reacted to the incoming hurricane. Very funny.

What does it mean to be a journalist?
Eh, to write for a living? Sometimes I get to write about what I really care about and sometimes it's just a job. Either way I like.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
As a freelance I tend to do the pitching - otherwise story hooks via email please

Why did you become a journalist?
I love words. I believe I can make a difference with words. I just love to write.

I was editor of the Erasmian in my high school - which was actually called The High School, Dublin. check it out!
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I have written a non fiction book on a family with a middle child who is profoundly disabled. I cannot find a publisher. #toodark

Write, write and write and don't let the crap editors grind you down
