Insignia NS-WBRDVD: owner's master discussion thread
I just picked up the Insignia NS-WBRDVD player from BB last night. I got it for the built-in wi-fi, but I have two problems so far: 1. Won't handshake through an HDMI switcher. I'm using the monoprice 1.3a 4x1 switcher with 3' monoprice going in all inputs and a 25' going out. Other sources (xbox 360 and dish network DVR) both work fine in this config, but not the insignia. Just using the 25' cable direct, the player works fine. Is it total length? the switcher?, the player?

#1 · Hi 2 all! Sorry for bad english. Guys, anybody have Optoma HD30 here? I replace my old Optoma HD20 to Optoma HD30. It's the same case and focus, so i don't need to change my screen. About quality - very good black level, slightly better contrast ratio and sharpness, very fast working dynamick black (now i really use it). Amazing 3D - watch only 3D Blu-ray remux. Nice in games - Devil May Cry 4 - outstanding! But not enough light in 3D mode - a little bit dark image...
Amazon Prime keeps buffering
Why is this happening ? Any advice ? During an episode of Bosch, it stopped and buffered at least 8 times ! The same thing happened a couple days ago while watching Bosch. Thanks

Problem with recliner's electrical outlet

I'm an electrical type but can't work without reference drawings, diagrams, or photos.
I own two SD DirecTiVo's which display much better pictures on S-video than Composite Video. I also own newer HD TiVo's and a rooftop antenna, in an area where there are 50+ digital channels OTA. So I have all broadcast network programming in HD. I hang onto the DirecTiVos because the handfull of cable channels we use, we use a lot, and they are not available in HD from DirecTV with a couple of exceptions (FOX News and Food Network).
Streaming Apple music with my Iphone SE

Does that mean streaming from my Iphone SE via WiFi, to my Denon S750H receiver using AirPlay, will not give me Hi Res lossless audio ? Center channel speaker recommendation
Budget? If you're not looking to spend a bunch of cash to experiment, I'd have a look at the Infinity Reference RC263. Aside from that, the Emotiva C1+. The C1+ can be had for $249 shipped, the RC263 can be had for around the $300 price point. Alternatively, you can get a second pair of the A130s and use one of them as your centre channel.

Upgrade from Sony Core bookshelf to ...
I'm thinking of upgrading my Sony SS-CS5 bookshelf speakers. Is there anything better for less than $200 ? They can be a little bigger, but not much. I just use a 2.1 system, about 80% home theater and 20% music. Thanks.

I use a 2.1 sound system, with a Denon Earc receiver, S750H. 1) Run HDMI cables from both players to receiver, then 1 HDMI cable to TV 2) Run both players to TV using HDMI and Earc, then HDMI cable to Earc on receiver I would not need to use optical digital for any reason, correct ? Thanks for any advice.
Fire HD tablet question
Is there any way to play the audio from the tablet's aux output while plugged into the aux input of my bluetooth speaker ? As soon as I plug the aux cable in, the audio stops. Thanks for any advice.

Yes it seems like this is the "true" 2020 replacement for the RU8000, unlike the crappy "downgrade" TU8000. Speaking of TU, I'm quite puzzled as to why this isn't a TU9000But I guess Samsung would have to explain that one.For example:2019100-->20200002019 Q-->2020 Q2019 Q-->2020 QSo you go by that and you have to go up a number series and up a letter to get to the closest 2020 model.
