Glucose metabolic reprogramming: a novel strategy to enhance radiotherapy response to triple-negative breast cancer
Abstract Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is an aggressive subtype of breast cancer characterized by poor prognosis and limited responsiveness to conventional therapies. Increasing evidence shows that the reprogramming of glucose metabolism is a hallmark of cancer cells, supporting their rapid proliferation, metastatic potential, and therapy resistance. This metabolic shift is particularly pronounced in TNBC, where reliance on glycolysis is greater than in other breast cancer subtypes.
Frontiers | LC/MS- and GC/MS-based metabolomic profiling to determine changes in flavor quality and bioactive components of Phlebopus portentosus under low-temperature storage
Introduction Phlebopus portentosus (Berk. and Broome) Boedijin was the first ectomycorrhizal fungus artificially cultivated in greenhouses (1–3). This mushroom is delectable and rich in nutrients, including polysaccharides, proteins, dietary fiber and mineral elements (4–6); as a result, the mushroom is widely considered a favorite ‘black bolete’ in China, Thailand and Vietnam.

A nomogram for predicting axillary pathologic complete response in hormone receptor-positive breast cancer with cytologically proven axillary lymph node metastases - Guo - 2020 - Cancer - Wiley Online Library
Abstract Background The objective of this study was to determine an axillary pathologic complete response (pCR) and its influencing factors in patients with hormone receptor (HR)–positive breast cancer and cytologically proven axillary lymph node metastases. A prediction nomogram was established to provide information for the de‐escalation of axillary management in these patients after neoadjuvant chemotherapy.
