Joe Rivers is a freelance journalist specialising in music, media and mental health, and Associated Editor of independent film and music website, noripcord.com.

Having started writing for his university newspaper at the tail-end of the 2000s, Joe's work has gone on to be featured in publications such as The Guardian, The New Statesman, The NME, The Independent, Time Out, Clash Magazine, Concrete Playground and Broadsheet.

British-born but now living in Sydney having relocated to Australia in 2016, Joe is also a freelance content provider for Apple Music, and has also has experience as a copywriter, editor, podcast host and radio guest. In addition, Joe used to write, produce and host his own soul music radio show on Sydney community radio.
