Have you ever used a typewriter?
My dad had a typewriter I'd use as a kid and get yelled at for it. The mechanics and sound were so special. I want one of my own.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Email. With images and key points attached. An option to follow up for clarification it great, but don't make me ask for images or b-roll.
What's your favorite social network?
Huge fan of Twitter. It has its issues, but the friendships, contacts, and customer service I've gotten there is unlike any other network.
Who do you wish followed you?
Other craft beer folks, parent bloggers, sci-fi nerds, and travel addicts. We've got a lot in common.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Anytime in the middle of the day. Its when I'm most free to focus on writing and not the day to day tasks of living with kids.
What's your favorite drink?
A favorite style of drink for me would be the Bourbon Barrel Age Stout. There are many out there, and so many are beautiful.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
If I had to pick one publication I'd go in the direction of TED Talks. There are so many start people out there. I just want to learn.
