Abstract The study examines Swedish consumer’s intention to buy sustainably produced fish using an extended Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) framework. Attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control significantly predict intentions. Adding food involement shows that higher engagement strengthens positive attitudes towards sustainable fish. The study also finds that impulsiveness moderates the impact of social norms, with impulsive shoppers more influenced by others.
