Prx1+ progenitors give rise to new articular cartilage when conditions are permissive for endogenous regeneration - npj Regenerative Medicine
Abstract It is widely acknowledged that articular cartilage lacks the ability to regenerate. However, if such regeneration were possible, which cell type would generate new tissue? The p21−/− mouse provides an excellent platform to explore this question, hence, we conducted lineage tracing on Paired related homeobox 1 (Prrx1/Prx1) cells post-injury to determine whether endogenous Prx1+ cells contribute to regenerated tissues post-injury.

John was one of the greatest theologians of our time, and his influence upon me is immeasurable. His death made me realize how much I looked forward to sharing with him the books I wrote. John always sent a kind email note upon receiving them. He functioned as an encouraging father for me and many others. Below is an essay John.

John Cobb · Follow Published in SafetyCulture Engineering · 5 min read · -- Often when we think about how engineering and design work together in software development, it can be easy to just focus on the output of the respective functions. Product designers take customer research and business requirements and turn them into mockups and prototypes. Engineers take those mockups and prototypes and turn them into functioning code and working software.

Palestinian Christians in Bethlehem Did Not Celebrate Christmas This Year
Commentary by Nick Gier | FāVS News If Christ were to be born today, he would be born under the rubble of Israeli shelling. —Palestinian Lutheran pastor There may be as many as 15 million Arabic-speaking Christians living in many countries, primarily, of course, in the Middle East. There, they, along with their indigenous Jewish brothers and sisters, had prospered in relative peace for centuries until the 19th century.
Let’s Follow Jefferson’s Lead and Redact the Bible
Let’s Follow Jefferson’s Lead and Redact the Bible Commentary by Nick Gier Some Christians admit that there are stories in the Bible that are not appropriate for children. They do not, however, suggest ways to keep youth from reading these accounts of sexual violence and other atrocities. I suggest that these passages be redacted just as Thomas Jefferson deleted parts of the New Testament.
