A veteran financial professional on the US East Coast, John Howell is the founder and current Chairman of the Willowdale family of companies. A member of the MVP Business Advisory Committee for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, John Howell also serves as a Director of the Rip Van Winkle Foundation, the New York foundation begun with proceeds from the Estate of famed New York Yankee Lou and his wife Eleanor.
Previously Mr. Howell served the US government in a variety of capacities ranging from combat arms officer in the US Army to field officer of the Central Intelligence Agency.
John Howell, a Fulbright Scholar, is an alumnus of Davidson College in North Carolina.
