Authored by Kevin Muir via The Macro Tourist blog, I have had some bad trades in my day. But lately, one call has been especially atrocious. For the past couple of years, I have taken stabs on the long side of the grain market. At different times, I have held various positions for different lengths of time, but make no mistake - grains have done nothing but cost me money.
Via Jim Quinn's Burning Platform blog, I watched this over at Irish’s Blog and started to think about ‘date night’. My wife and I go out on date night every couple of weeks. It’s not always big and fancy, for example last weekend we snuck out of the house to our neigborhood pub for drinks and a bit of dinner after I got home from work. The place was packed. I’m a people watcher so as we are chatting I’m looking about and watching other people interact. Mostly they are Gen X’ers and Boomers.
Who taught Rosie O’Donnell how to code? The actress is drawing criticism from conservatives after tweeting a link to an online game called “Push Trump Off A Cliff.” The game, which is so low-quality it really does look like O’Donnell programmed it herself, allows players to press a button and watch an animated President Trump…jump off a cliff. Players can choose between four backgrounds: Trump can jump into a river, a fiery lake, a dense rainforest, or – bizarrely – an NYC pothole.
