I have used a typewriter in middle school. Early 1990s before my family got our first computer.
How is social media changing news?
Social media has turned news into who has it first vs who has it right. And when first is wrong, the correction never gets as much play.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Feel free to shoot me an email with a few sentences of what topic you are looking for and most importantly who is the target audience.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I use a lot of traditional tools for my job to include: Microsoft Office 365, Evernote, Grammarly (a big one).
What's your favorite social network?
LinkedIn is my favorite social network. I have the opportunity to engage with other experts in their fields and meet new people.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I did not work for the high school paper, but i did work on the yearbook my sophomore year.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Vote Broadband 2020 was one of my favorites. I have been working with the local community on rural broadband expansion.

Shoot messages to me in the morning for review.

Diet Dr. Pepper
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
The GYM. 6 days a week.
