John Broekman was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. His upbringing in the Sunshine State shaped much of his personality—relaxed, curious, and driven to explore life to the fullest. He graduated from Bishop Kenny High School, where he developed a strong foundation in learning and staying engaged in his community. After high school, he moved to Fort Myers to attend Florida Gulf Coast University, where he pursued a degree in Business Management. During this time, he joined a fraternity, which became his first real experience with leadership and community service.
John later returned to Jacksonville and transferred to the University of North Florida. There, he took on a larger role in his fraternity, eventually becoming the third-highest-ranking member. His involvement included organizing philanthropic efforts, primarily supporting the Muscular Dystrophy Association and regularly donating blood through Oneblood’s Big Red Bus. He graduated from the university in 2020 with honors, achieving a 3.8 GPA. He majored in Political Science and minored in Business Management while also participating in the Economics Society to expand his understanding of global and financial systems.
John's career experience spans politics, finance, and logistics. He has worked on local, gubernatorial, and presidential campaigns, including helping organize a rally for President Trump in Jacksonville, where he met him in person. In the logistics industry, he helped transform a $50,000 account at Magellan Logistics into one exceeding $500,000. He also worked at TEKsystems, earning a promotion to a senior role within just three months.
Outside of work, John is passionate about electronic dance music and has attended over 100 festivals nationwide since 2012. He maintains an active lifestyle through regular workouts, biking, and gaming at a competitive level. Fishing and spending time at the beach with friends are also part of how he relaxes.
John Broekman continues to seek meaningful opportunities across industries. His ability to connect with people, adapt quickly, and stay committed to growth defines both his professional and personal life.
