Why did you become a journalist?
I loved to write & explore; inspired by a family member. It was a window onto the world, into other lives. I could solve puzzles, shed light.

Do the hard work. Always be more interested in understanding than judging; humble, thick-skinned, grateful someone lets you tell their story.
