Johnny O'Reilly’s Biography
Johnny O'Reilly is an Irish journalist and filmmaker based in Kyiv, with two decades of experience covering the former Soviet region. He has contributed to Rolling Stone, The New York Times, The Sunday Times, The Times of London, The Irish Times, and other major publications. As a writer-director, he has earned international recognition for his award-winning films, including two Russian-language features — The Weather Station and Moscow Never Sleeps — which were selected for major festivals and released in cinemas worldwide.
